Occupancy Rate Decline

Compared to January 2024's OOH occupancy rate of 78%, Greater Cairo's occupancy rate in February 2024 is 81%, which translates to a  3% increase.

Sector Analysis

Real Estate: February 2024 scored a 1% higher occupancy rate in comparison to itself during January 2024. This sector is always outperforming itself and the whole OOH industries’ participants.

FMCG Industry: In contrast, the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector, encompassing food & beverages, cleaning products, cosmetics & personal care, and pharmaceuticals & biotech, witnessed a 0.5% decline in activity compared to the prior month.

Telecommunications: The Telecommunications sector’s activity scored a 1.9% increase compared to January 2024.

Healthcare: The Healthcare industry displayed a 0.5% decline in activity compared to the month prior.

Financial Services: The finance & Investment industry witnessed an increase since last month, as it wasn’t even in the top industries and now it comes in fifth place with a total of 4.2% of the total campaigns launched during January 2024, and a 1.7% higher in comparison to itself during January 2024.

The OOH sector as a whole saw an amazing 11% raise in occupancy in February 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, notwithstanding the monthly swings

Real Estate: February 2024 marked a 1.1% decrease in the Real Estate sector's activity rate compared to the same month in 2023.

FMCG Industry: The Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector showcased a 0.7% decline in activity compared to the previous year.

Telecommunications: Telecommunications sector witnessed a 1% increase in outdoor advertising activity compared to the same month in the previous year.

Healthcare: The Healthcare industry experienced a 1.9% decrease in activity compared to February 2023.

Financial Services : The Financial Services sector witnessed a 1.9% decrease in comparison to the same month in 2023.

February 2024 saw a positive shift in Greater Cairo's OOH advertising market compared to January. The overall occupancy rate climbed 3%, indicating a rise in advertiser activity.
