Vodafone’s latest run in OOH during February was nothing short of dominant. They have returned once again to collaborate with Samsung to make the Samsung A17 5G your next phone purchase, at just 530 EGP per month! This campaign follows up on their previous prolific campaign with Hamdi El-Mirghani.

The campaign marked a significant takeover of high-traffic roads throughout Greater Cairo. The locations included 26th of July Axis, Waslet Dahsour Road, and Jamal Abd El Nasser in West Cairo, and the Zamalek area in Central Cairo. Visually, the campaign went for a simple yet effective approach similar to their campaign with Valu from this month. It included an eye-catching bright red that is synonymous with vodafone which included the Samsung A17 5G on the left side of the visual, with the 530 EGP installment right below the phone.

The right side was copy-heavy, starting with the first line of copy that read: “exclusively by Vodafone, with the widest 5G coverage in Egypt,” followed by the value-based offer for obtaining the phone, which read: “0% Down Payment, 0% Interest and 0% Administrative Fees.”  Tying together the offer brilliantly. It is also worth noting that CIB Bank, Al Ahly Bank, and Contact now were featured on the bottom left of the visual.

The campaign is a statement in value-based advertising. Which was done by letting the offer be the star of the show and building all the elements of the visual around it. Combine that with the strategically selected locations to bring together an all-rounded campaign that continues Vodafone’s strong run this February.
