Fried Chicken Royalty: Muslim and Moamen Zakria Lead Bazooka’s New OOH Campaign
The self-proclaimed kings of fried chicken, Bazooka, have tapped Muslim and Moamen Zakria for their latest OOH push, returning once again to dominate Greater Cairo’s skyline. This follows their previous campaign from September of last year.
The campaign is currently visible across central Cairo’s major arteries and is making waves along the high-traffic 26th of July Axis in West Cairo. The visuals are a primary highlight, showcasing beloved former Al Ahly player Moamen Zakria alongside popular artist and singer Mostafa Zakaria, better known by his stage name Muslim, as they enjoy Bazooka’s signature fried chicken.
Another standout visual feature is the brand ambassador, Muslim, who has become synonymous with the brand, dressed in an artist’s outfit (complete with a toupée) as he pours sauce over a bucket of chicken. In the background, a painting of the brand’s mascot, a chicken in a suit sitting on a throne, serves as a fun yet bold way to claim their position as the kings of Egyptian fried chicken.
The imagery is further elevated by typography in Bazooka’s signature yellow, with one visual even utilizing a clever rhyme scheme. Throughout the campaign, the tagline remains constant and confident: “We are the kings, we are fresh.”
With this latest rollout, Bazooka reinforces its position through high-visibility placements and local cultural ties. By leveraging the combined popularity of Muslim and Moamen Zakria, the brand successfully bridges the gap between music and sports, creating a campaign that resonates with a broad cross-section of the Egyptian public.
