Beat Diabetes Brings Its Annual Family Event Back Into Focus on Dubai’s DOOH

Beat Diabetes returned to public view after a three-year break with a new billboard that is very much in line with what the initiative has always stood for. Launched back in 2009, Beat Diabetes has long focused on one clear goal: raising awareness around diabetes and encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles across the UAE.

The billboard promotes the Beat Diabetes Family event, an open, community-led day designed for families, friends, and anyone looking to take a small but meaningful step toward healthier habits. Backed by Landmark Group, the event brings the initiative back into everyday conversation.

The visuals start with the Beat Diabetes logo on the left. It’s immediately clear who’s behind the message. Under the logo, the line “An initiative by Landmark Group” grounds it as a long-running community effort, the biggest text on the billboard is “Annual Family Event.” Right under that, the date and time are spelled out clearly: “8th Feb, 8AM–1PM.” Next comes the location: “Gate 3, Za’abeel Park, Dubai.”On the right side, there’s a yellow circular badge that reads “Entry fee includes all event activities!”  Below, the line “Step into a healthier tomorrow” , then there’s a very clear call to action: “Register Now” followed by the website beatdiabetes.me.  Visually, the people on the right matter. You see adults and kids in activewear, smiling and moving. It quietly explains the event better than words: this is about walking, playing, and being active together.  At the bottom of the billboard, you’ll notice partner and sponsor logos laid out in a clean row. They’re there for credibility and support, but they’re intentionally kept small so they don’t distract from the main message.

The campaign hit Dubai’s digital screens in the first week of February.
