MBC Shahid’s new outdoor campaign doesn’t just advertise the platform; it tells a story across Cairo’s skyline.

High above the traffic of the city and the fading sunset, the campaign progresses in stages, almost in episodes of a TV series. Following their prior appearance, launching this campaign in the UAE, the new billboard stands out on Cairo’s streets. The ad copy notes “Together from the beginning,” accompanied by the MBC logo. The black color of the board makes the simplicity of the message stand out, creating a feeling of nostalgia. The message is reminiscent of shared memories, of a channel that has been around through generations.

The second billboard shifts gears and makes it official: “Shahid is now MBC Shahid,” a new bold declaration that this isn’t just a rebranding announcement, it’s a new era.

Then comes the emotional punch: “There are things you simply can’t separate from each other.” The text boldly appears on a neutral background, accompanied by the Shahid logo above it. The whole message is rewritten. MBC and Shahid are no longer two separate entities. They are now inseparable partners. The text is informal, yet uniquely Egyptian, bringing a giant brand to its roots. The three billboards work as a story of the past, the present, and unity.
