Volvo The Hybrid SUV XC90 Stands Proudly in the Middle of Billboard
Volvo, the Swedish car brand known for safety, clean design, and calm reliability, is back on Cairo’s roads again, and you almost don’t notice it at first… until you do. After their last outdoor appearance in March 2025, the Hybrid XC90 has slowly started showing up across some of the city’s busiest routes, sitting between flyovers and concrete dividers like it never really left.
Once you start paying attention, you realise how intentionally placed the campaign is. The XC90 appears on wide unipoles overlooking the highways, on long stretch boards that face oncoming traffic, and on sequential placements that follow you down the road as you drive. Each billboard carries the exact same, stripped-back visual: the car positioned dead centre, framed by open space, with the line “The New XC90” sitting neatly beside the price. Right below it, the added incentive of three years of free service or up to 50,000 kilometres reinforces the offer without overwhelming the layout. The consistency is almost quiet, but it works. You don’t get different angles, different copy, or different distractions. Just one clear moment repeated enough times to settle in your memory.
