Cairo’s Billboards Catch the First Whisper of Ghoneim Developments’ Next Move
Ghoneim Developments Group has reappeared on Cairo’s billboards this week, slipping back into the city’s morning traffic after five quiet months. The Egyptian real estate developer is known for working on residential and lifestyle-focused projects that blend city living with resort-inspired environments. Over the past years, the group has positioned itself around creating destinations that feel more like experiences than traditional compounds, and it's shown across OOH.
“From the heart of Cairo to the heart of Greece. Soon.” is now appearing across different roads in the city, introducing a new direction without revealing too many details. The visuals stay simple. A wide shot of clear turquoise water taken from above, with a small boat moving through the middle, sits at the heart of the design. There are no buildings, people, or renders. Just the sea, motion, and space. On the left side, the Ghoneim Developments logo appears on a dark background along with the hotline 17492, while the word “soon” is handwritten in a soft green, giving the whole image a personal, almost travel-inspired feel.
Across Airport Road and nearby areas, the campaign repeats through a mix of large billboards and smaller lamppost banners. The same image and line follow you as you drive, creating a quiet sense of build-up. It’s a tease rather than an announcement, and the decision to avoid showing any architecture suggests this phase is focused more on mood than on specifics.
