From Iftar Tables to Family Sofas, Royal Furniture’s Ramadan Billboards Turn Roads into Homes
Royal Furniture’s latest outdoor campaign is turning UAE highways into immersive snapshots of home, where living rooms and dining spaces come together to tell a story of Ramadan living.
Across the nation, billboards loom not as advertisements for products, but as carefully constructed images of living spaces that accurately depict how homes come alive during this season. Rather than featuring individual pieces of furniture, like their prior appearance, the ad campaign promotes entire spaces such as luxurious dining areas ready for entertaining and inviting living areas ready for connection and interaction, all with a clear and present commercial message.
One of the billboards is a luxurious dining area ready for hosting Iftar meals. The setting includes a sculptural table base, soft-colored chairs, flower arrangements, and other design elements to create a space ready for connection and interaction. A hostess stands confidently in front of a circular architectural frame, giving the ad a sense of structure and design. Underneath this setting is a strong block of color in maroon with the hook “Discounts” and “Up to 80% off.”
Another billboard changes the storyline to a warm living room setting where a father leans in to his child on a plush sectional sofa as a mother looks on in the background. The setting is rich with textured sofas, contemporary coffee tables, and warm decorative elements. The phrase “Made especially for Ramadan, for the most beautiful moments,” emphasizes the point that furniture is not only practical, it also helps to create moments.
The Royal Furniture logo is boldly placed at the top, and the rich maroon color scheme reflects the warmth and celebration of Ramadan.
As Ramadan is a time when homes are centered around gathering, hosting, and coming together, Royal Furniture communicates that it is not a store selling furniture, but a partner in building a home where moments occur.
The campaign took off on UAE’s Mega-coms in the second week of February.
