2B and Valu Redifine Accessibility on Cairo’s DOOH in Their Latest Rollout
Tech retail powerhouse 2B has reclaimed Greater Cairo’s DOOH landscape, pivoting from its recent collaboration with Honor as a part of their previous campaign to a high-impact financial synergy with Valu.
The campaign leveraged locations on the Wahat Road in Western Cairo and Abdel Munim Riad Road in Central Cairo, both of which are high-traffic locations that ensured maximum visibility to the target audience. Creatively, the visuals involved a backdrop with 2B’s signature orange and black color palette, the visuals then utilized a motion dominant approach to break through the visual clutter of the Cairo skyline where the numbers would pop up from the bottom of the screen, and then a female subject, symbolizing the empowered modern consumer, literally pulled the offer into focus to close the loop.

The copy was used to present the offer, which read “pay with U by Valu" followed by the three zero’s: 0% down payment, 0% purchase fees and 0% interest rate. With those being the biggest draw of the offer, they were given the hierarchy by being the largest in typographic scale. Finally the copy on the left read “Ready for every celebration.” A clever way of bridging the gap between a high-tech financial product and the deep-seated cultural tradition of holiday gifting and self-reward.
In Cairo’s crowded digital skyline, 2B and Valu have proven that when the right offer is delivered with the right “motion”, it can be the ultimate traffic stopper.
