Everyone’s favorite McSpicy is currently back at McDonald’s according to UAE’s digital Out-of-Home advertising stage. The American international fast food franchise established in 1940 is now back on billboards after its prior DOOH activity in April 2024 unveiling McArabia Meals in the UAE. The campaign features a juicy and mouthwatering photograph of the McSpicy chicken burger showing a layer of spicy crunchy chicken and green leafy vegetables, as well as dripping McSpicy sauce all in a freshly served bun. A red hot jalapeno is also displayed next to the burger which is bound to grab attention on the road. The letter “i” in McSpicy is also displayed as a jalapeno making the campaign come to life with the main bold tagline “It’s Back” while also stating that the sandwich will only be available for a “Limited Time”. In addition, McDonald’s embeds its major brand colors, red and yellow, which are quite brilliant and have great influence on passersby’s eyes, playing an important function in catching attention and arousing intrigue and curiosity. Other visuals display the burger in a combo along with a Sprite and french fries, using a white background to make the tagline, logo and photo pop. The new DOOH campaign was launched during the third week of May and took the form of digital screens, lampposts, and uni-poles across Sharjah, Dubai, and Ajman.
