Pepsi has climbed on Greater Cairo’s OOH landscape to celebrate its new logo and brand identity with the public, the brand’s first branding update in 14 years. The refreshed logo, which preserves its most iconic elements, shows the Pepsi name in big, bold, capital letters within a circle filled with the brand’s signature red, white, and blue stripes. PepsiCo went big with its first upgrade of the Pepsi brand in 14 years. The corporation went out with the new look using digital installations above significant locations such as the Nile River in Egypt. The presentation was complemented by a light show in a digital sphere in the middle of the Nile, celebrating 75 years of refreshment in Egypt. The campaign boldly displays the new Pepsi logo using the brand slogan “Stay Thirsty” in Arabic, reaching the Egyptian audience. Another visual shows the logo on the normal Pepsi can, the Pepsi Max, and the Diet Pepsi. Other visuals use the tagline “Stay New” which is suitable for the rebranding campaign and strategy.
