Being home to over 200 nationalities, the United Arab Emirates attracts a large number of expats from all over the world. Pakistanis make up over 12% of the UAE's population, making them one of the largest expatriate communities in the country. To celebrate this loyal community, financial services provider Al Fardan Exchange recently launched an out-of-home advertising campaign titled My Pakistan. The Hoarding billboards appeared on major roads across Dubai in early June to target Pakistani expats. The large format billboards feature colorful visuals with images of smiling Pakistani families and the campaign title in both English and Arabic text. The ads highlight Al Fardan Exchange's offer of rewards and cashback for Pakistanis who send money to their loved ones back home through the exchange. In partnership with major Pakistani banks, such as; AlFalah Bank, HBL, MCB, and UBL, Al Fardan says that expats can simply send money to Pakistan today and get guaranteed cashback and win up to PKR 4 million. The limited-time campaign runs from June 1 to 30 and aims to encourage Pakistani expats to take advantage of the special offers and rewards. It comes soon after Al Fardan's Ramadan campaign in April which also provided exclusive deals for customers. The My Pakistan out-of-home spectacle seeks to celebrate and reward the large Pakistani community in Dubai during a time of year when remittances to Pakistan spike due to Eid celebrations.
