Media & Broadcasting Out-of-Home (OOH) campaigns can get more popular during Ramadan due to increased footfall and outdoor activities, particularly during the evening hours. With many people visiting family and friends, attending events such as Ramadan tents and Iftar gatherings, and shopping for Eid, OOH advertising provides a great opportunity for brands to reach their audience in a more targeted and effective manner. Additionally, OOH campaigns can be strategically placed in high-traffic areas such as malls, markets, and popular tourist destinations, further increasing their visibility and impact. TV Channels use OOH campaigns during Ramadan to promote their programming and increase viewership. As mentioned earlier, the holy month of Ramadan is a time when many people spend more time outdoors in the evenings, attending community events and visiting family and friends. This presents a prime opportunity for TV channels to promote their programming through OOH advertising, such as billboards and posters placed in high-traffic areas. Additionally, with the increased viewership during Ramadan, TV channels may want to increase their brand awareness and reach a wider audience through OOH campaigns by distributing the campaigns in strategic locations; TV channels can effectively reach their target audience and encourage them to tune into their programming. Overall, OOH campaigns can be an effective way for TV channels to promote their programming and increase viewership during Ramadan, when many people are looking for quality entertainment options during the holy month. In 5th place came the only real estate campaign of the top 5, The Rift by Lozan Developments won it with a total of 78 ad faces. The OOH campaign uses large-format billboards strategically placed in prime locations across the city to promote the project and attract potential customers and investors. The billboards feature high-quality visuals and a clear message promoting the business park, making it impossible for passersby to ignore. The 4th place went to MBC Masr Ramadan 2023 campaign, which was running down Ramadan’s TV shows such as Taghyeer Gaw by Menna Shalaby and Eyad Nassar, Rasheed by Mohamed Mamadouh, and Riham Abdel Ghafour, and Al’Ag-har by Amr Saad and Dorra Zarrouk.
