The new advertising campaign for the Spring Summer 2023 Collection explores and emphasizes the significance of fashion as a form of ongoing self-expression that profoundly affects and enriches life. Captured by Zo Ghertner, multidisciplinary artists like Kendall Jenner and Karolin Wolter star in the ad campaign. Because of their inherent beauty and individuality, they share bravery and a willingness to defy expectations. The campaign utilizes themes that are at this point well-known to Miu Miu: variations and subversions of uniform, the modernizing of wardrobe archetypes, such as fitted jackets, and connections to sports universes and utilitarian outerwear adorned with large patch pockets. The visuals draw attention to their sophisticated, modern bags with timeless silhouettes opulent details, and a contemporary design. The skilled models pose with the Matelassé nappa leather bags, in laid-back, chill yet refined looks that match their styling, photographed on white background. An interesting take on their marketing is that Miu Miu’s billboards often follow the same formula of having a plain white backdrop featuring only the logo as a stark contrast, as well as having images shot on solid-colored backgrounds also.
