Ever wonder why lipstick has this interesting name? Well, the Locked Kiss Ink is kiss-proof, water-proof and transfer-proof! You can “lock in” hours and hours of weightless color with the liquid lipstick, as MAC labels it as their “longest-wearing lipstick to date”. The visuals stress this by adding the caption “24HR Lipcolor” with an edgy model looking straight ahead to the audience with a piercing, blue-eyes sensual stare. The cutting-edge video goes on to show the full range of colors and shades that the line has, as well as the sleek packaging, featuring cool shots and spins of the process so the audience is transported to MAC’s makeup lab! The exploding red lipstick at the end pulls all eyes to this interesting, never-seen-before style of advertising! It’s also a clever play on how pigmented the color is, as it appears to be so vivid and literally drapes Dubai with its color! The double-coated, ultra-refined pigments give the lipstick its smooth, matte finish that is full-coverage and rich in color. The new campaign popped up on digital screens in the third week of February.
