Ahmed Saad appears on Cairo’s billboards to announce the latest offer by Orange. The ad copy included photos of him smiling and speaking on his mobile phone with the campaign’s tagline, which is translated to “Big Charge, Big Deals”. Also, a mockup of a huge Orange top-up card has on it the offer, which includes 900 Super Mega and 450 Units for all networks. The campaign has been spotted in more than one cluttered location, indicating a geo-distribution that targets a broad audience and therefore introduces the service to a newer demographic. It also came in different shapes and sizes to catch the eye of people walking or driving from any direction. Moreover, in the text, they used Egypt’s mother tongue, the Arabic language, to communicate with almost every demography on the street. It’s important to note that Orange Egypt was formerly known as Mobinil and that it’s the oldest mobile network operator in Egypt, founded in 1998. This is the first OOH campaign for Orange in 2023, after their previous campaign, which happened to appear last month when Orange and Amazon announced a collaboration where they offered free shipping for Orange users for any Amazon order.
