Vodafone has always been known for its catchy OOH campaigns every season. And today, it’s coming at us with an even stronger one. However, let’s talk about Vodafone’s previous campaign first. It was a cross-promotion with Youtube offering 2GB of youtube streaming for 5 EGP, the lowest price in the market. 

In this campaign, Vodafone went through a bold artistic direction featuring paintings of Mohamed Salah in different exotic locations and scenes on every billboard with the tagline “The Network is Doubled”. One storyboard painting features Mohamed Salah on a wooden board in the middle of the sea with sharks around him and holding his phone while the same tagline is written with the bold Vodafone Red color. Another painting shows the football player at war, with the same strong network on his phone, signifying how good Vodafone’s network is. Another billboard shows Mohamed Salah checking his phone to find the message “Charge and win up to a terabyte”. 

The campaign came after the multiple character malfunction that the majority noticed among the telecom industry to change the narrative and play it with multi-circumstances instead.

The campaign was spotted in many locations in Greater Cairo, with different adventurous scenes on every background with Mohamed Salah on the front. One billboard is bright red with the campaign’s tagline only and a catchy font, signifying how much Vodafone knows how to grab attention with such simple wording.  Vodafone is no stranger to big attention-grabbing campaigns, and this one is definitely one of them. It will catch your eye with its bright colors, new scenes, and artistic atmosphere!
