Egyptian actor Ahmed El-Sakka on the billboards of Cairo, announced the re-presentation of the famous play “Sayidaty El Gamila” or My Fair Lady, which represents one of the classics of the Egyptian theater and was shown for the first time in 1969. The outdoor advertising campaign of the play is very informative and detailed. It features the official poster which contains the whole cast of the play stars Ahmed El Sakka, Reem Mostafa, and Mohamed Abdel-Rahman. Moreover, the credits of the play were also featured on the billboard with the place, time, and website where you can buy the tickets. Also, the billboard campaign came in different OOH sizes, filling the streets of Cairo which makes the campaign attractive to as many people as possible. In addition, the campaign has been spotted on more than one major road such as The Ring Road, which indicates a geo-distribution that targets a broad audience and therefore introduces the play to a newer demographic. It’s worth noting that a lot of adaptations were created for this story with different plots; one of them is “Sayidaty El Gamila” written by Bahgat Amar which is adapted from the American movie “My Fair Lady”; and both are adapted from the greek mythology “Pygmalion”. Another noteworthy that the campaign has been displayed on Zayed Digital Boards (ZDB) Check out Monitoring Out of Home (MOOH), a specialist media intelligence agency and analysis system active in Cairo & UAE, to learn more about Sayidaty El Gamila’s newest campaigns.
