The Dutch multinational company, IKEA, is well-known for its unique and simple designs and ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, decoration, home accessories, and other goods and home services. Not only that they’re known for their designs but also for their great and versatile prices. Now, IKEA has come up with its latest outdoor promotional campaign on the streets of Dubai announcing its latest offers and deals. IKEA’s new outdoor campaign hosts a visual of their small side tables alongside their special prices, colors, names, description, and the tagline “It’s Kind of a BIG Deal” which is translated to “عرض كبير لا يفوت” The ad is detailed and contains all the information you need to get the products they show. Also, the text on visuals came in both English and Arabic languages to deliver the message to as many people as possible, knowing that Dubai has a large number of foreigners. Not only that, but the campaign also came in two sizes which are wall-wrapping and hoarding and was spotted on more than one major road in Dubai which indicates a geo-distribution that targets a broad audience and therefore introduces the offer to a newer demographic. It’s worth noting that IKEA was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad, becoming the world’s largest furniture retailer in 2008 with 466 IKEA stores in the world, serving more than 657 million people worldwide! However, Al-Futtaim Group holds franchise rights for IKEA in UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Egypt.
