Twix is well-known for its commercials about left vs. right, and the difference between the two biscuits which is no difference! And this new campaign about the release of their new product is just the same idea! Twix announced on a huge outdoor campaign the release of their newest product “Twix Wafer Rolls” Let’s take a closer look at this campaign! The new Twix Wafer Rolls pack contains two pieces of wafer rolls filled with caramel and coated with chocolate. So as mentioned above, they used the same way which is comparing the two pieces when they split the visual into two and chose the word “or”. Actually, it’s funny and so like their brand persona, it also catches attention because people will get curious to know the difference! Moreover, they used Egypt’s mother tongue, the Arabic language, to communicate with almost every demography on the street. However, the colors they used are gold and beige which are their brand colors. They also used a large bold font that is clearly visible with so little text to deliver the idea so fast and clearly. The campaign has been spotted in more than one major road and cluttered location, which indicates a geo-distribution that targets a broad audience and therefore introduces the service to a newer demographic. It also came in different shapes and sizes to catch the eye of people walking or driving from any direction. It’s worth noting that Twix is a product line from the mother company ‘Mars’. They began the construction of ‘Twix production line in Egypt in June 2013.
