Now, he is collaborating with the fashion wear brand that believes in “being who you are” and made it their motto! The new face of the company and the "Be Who You Are" advertising campaign demonstrates how being a champion extends beyond the football field.
The aim of the campaign and Mbappé’s presence is to inspire the youth, globally, and to support personal progression and growth. The values behind the billboards is to believe in one’s self and stay true to it. Determination is needed alongside talent, as Mbappé preaches. The collection includes eyewear and sunglasses, both displayed on the visuals in their sleek, stylish design, under the title “Style Matters”.
Mbappé's personal tale served as the inspiration for this collaboration, including strong resolve, humility, and respect for one's roots. For Oakley, it is crucial to emphasize both the personal and the sporting sides of a player, placing a spotlight on both their talent and their role as a leader and admirable role model for younger generations, exhibiting traits like kindness and empathy both on and off the field.
The new campaign was released via hoardings in Dubai, in the first week of November.
