Missed Pepsi? You called, and they answered, delivering a new OOH advertisement to Dubai after nearly a year-long gap. The vast global name PepsiCo has boosted the food & beverage industry time and time again. In this multi-channel campaign, Pepsi builds on their global hashtag ThirstyForMore? and their film Nutmeg Royale with big football names. Fans may see Leo Messi, one of the biggest stars in football, play alongside legendary players Paul Pogba and Ronaldinho. The top football players compete in an entertaining nutmeg event while outwitting one another and unwary locals, filmed in Morocco. The frantic, action-movie-style advertisement for Pepsi is set to one of the most famous football soundtracks, Fatboy Slim's catchy The Rockafeller Skank, and is jam-packed with cameos, stunt shots, and the brand's trademark humor. Football influencers Kaljit Atwal and Luva de Pedreiro have been added to the renowned lineup also. Even though the drink is not one of the official sponsors of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Pepsi is still trying to steal the show by bringing in football stars for their video campaign and even bringing in Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior as their new global brand ambassador. Onto the OOH side now, they word their tagline “Thirsty For More?” about the World Cup by adding flags painted on their models’ faces. The Dutch and Spanish words written on the colorful billboards, “Kom Op” and “Vamos,” bring flavor and diversity, translating to “come on” and “let’s go.” The bright campaign celebrates culture, targeting football fans interested in this year’s big event in Qatar, aiming to hype them up. Hoardings all over Dubai were covered in Pepsi’s limited campaign in the first week of November.
