HOHOs is one of Egyptians’ favorite quick-sweet snack. It used to be only a chocolate cake filled with cream and covered with chocolate frosting. Then, they came up with a new product called “HOHO mix,” filled with chocolate cream. And now, HOHOs is returning with a new flavor that mixes vanilla & chocolate cream. Almost 2 years ago, Edita released an outdoor campaign to announce HOHOs’ rebranding. Now, they filled the streets of Cairo again with their newest billboard campaign revealing the newest flavor, HOHOs Mix. the brand never stops surprising us! Speaking of surprises, the previous campaign was about a new version of the delicious cake, which was filled with vanilla cream.
Orange is youth, playfulness, and boldness! The artwork's colors are so catchy, vibrant, and full of life, and this is how HOHOs have marketed themselves since they rebranded. This was so clear in their latest TV commercial, which was so witty and comedic!
Moreover, they used Egypt’s mother tongue, the Arabic language, to communicate with almost every demography on the street. However, the ad copy on visuals used in this campaign is not new; they used it in all their previous outdoor campaigns in the last two years.
The campaign has been spotted in more than one cluttered location, which indicates a geo-distribution that targets a broad audience and therefore introduces the service to a newer demographic. It also came in different shapes and sizes to catch the eye of people walking or driving from any direction.
It’s worth noting that Edita Egypt was founded in 1996, and since then the company has been a pioneer in confectionary manufacturing.
