In a rebranding campaign furnished, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, previously known as Oman Insurance, has a new name! Under the name of Sukoon Insurance, the brand announced itself through mega com and bridge billboard formats. In a purple and orange Out-of-Home campaign, the insurance brand gave the audience a glimpse of what the new brand will look like. The campaign is out in Arabic and English to target both local and foreign audiences, which indicates one of the brand’s objectives which is “inclusivity.” The question of “why the branding?” may occur to the reader. And honestly, so do we! And the answer was pretty simple and logical; the rebranding started from the name of the brand, as we’re now in a world where services and products must directly correlate and accentuate what makes the business unique. Sukoon in Arabic, Urdu, and Hindi means “peace of mind,” and this term articulates what the company is all about. Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, CEO of Sukoon, revealed in his interview with the Khaleej Times that he tested out “tested dozens of names, logos, and colors to finally select Sukoon.” The rebranding happened in October 2022 during the release of the current OOH campaign, which happened to be in the 3rd week of October.
