Sharjah Radio & Television Authority, the media and broadcasting tycoon in Sharjah spread Maraya in an OOH campaign in the UAE. To make it easier for people to access their productions anytime and anywhere, the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority has launched a free digital portal and mobile application called Maraya.” In addition to the content of the Holy Quran Radio from Sharjah, Sharjah Radio, and Plus 95, the application also includes an extensive library of the most recent and significant works and programs on the screens of Sharjah, Al Sharqiya from Kalba, Al Wusta from Al Dhaid, Sharjah Sports, and Channel Two. A peak of their shows like “Khorfakkan” tv show is publicized in the ad, as well as the Emirati Pro League with a line of fan-favorite players including Ismail Matar, Omar Abdulrahman, and Ali Mabkhout. Their programs transcend geographical boundaries, with star Ahmed El Sakka appearing for his work. The host and stars of these other programs appear on the dark billboards with strobes of blue, showcasing Maraya’s diversity and the plenty of programs they have. The ad copy tempts the UAE’s audience by saying, “Your favorite programs are available now on a platform,” backed up by their call to action to download the app now. Maraya can be used via the website, by downloading the free app for smartphones with iOS and Android operating systems, and on Android-powered smart TV platforms. Samsung, Android TV, and Apple TV, as stated on the billboard. The new, limited campaign was released on hoardings in Sharjah by the first week of October.
