August 2022 in Greater Cairo witnessed a decline rate of 1% in OOH activities compared to July 2022; this translates to the billboard occupancy rate of 71% in August 2022 compared to a 72% billboard occupancy rate in July 2022. On the other hand, we notice the total number of billboards spaces in Greater Cairo has increased by 5.8% This month, a good percentage of growth is noticed in Telecommunications with a growth rate of 2% compared to July. We also noticed a growth rate of 1% in Education to July. The Healthcare industry on the other hand showed a decline rate of 1% compared to July 2022 and Retail Shopping's decline rate is 2% compared to July. August 2022 in Greater Cairo also witnessed a decline rate of 3% in OOH activities compared to August 2021; this translates to the billboard occupancy rate of 71% in August 2022 compared to a 74% billboard occupancy rate in August 2021. In contrast, we notice a 10.6% increase in the total number of billboards spaces in Greater Cairo compared to August 2021. This month, a good percentage of growth is noticed in the Telecommunications industry with a growth rate of 1% compared to August 2021 and Education's growth rate of 2% compared to August 2021. HealthCare also showed a growth rate of 2% compared to August 2021, while Retail Shopping showed a growth rate of 2% compared to August 2021 as well. Seasonality campaigns in September, such as; Back To School Campaigns, might continue from August. Worth mentioning that the Black/White Friday Campaigns that will come next November have a substantial impact on specific industries, specifically E-commerce and Retail Shopping, which means that we expect the percentage to stay or to increase in September, considering all the consequences of the market now.
