Renowned Egyptian TV channel Al Oula has launched a new outdoor campaign that teases both, language and viewers, with the channel’s name. Over golden backgrounds with a monochromatic geometric design that resembles parts of the channel’s logo, the ads simply feature a big number 1 and ad copy that reads “Egypt’s first channel” – a word game that can refer to the name of the channel, the history of the channel, or even the position in audience share of the channel... the campaign definitely looks and feels like a teaser! Launched during the first week of January, the campaign is highly visible across the city with large and x-large uni-poles, double-decker poles, gates, mega signs, billboards, and lightboxes.
