The global fast-food giant McDonald’s successfully promoted its breakfast menu through a new out-of-home campaign across Cairo. Their prior appearance on Cairo’s billboards was this December with their “Want Coffee” campaign. This time the OOH campaign is running parallel to their TV and Social Media advertisement promoting their breakfast menu. 

Almost one month past their Breakfast campaign in Dubai, Egypt’s most popular fast-food chain launched a mirroring OOH campaign in Cairo but with a different look and feel. The campaign is appealing and lifelike, displaying a joyful jumble of selections from the breakfast menu. Items like Chicken McMuffin, Egg McMuffin, McFalafel, Egg and Cheese Wrap, Hash Browns, Orange Juice, and Coffee are deliciously seen as the highlights of the visual. The simple yet inviting call-to-action “Start Your Day With a Good Idea. Start Your Day With McDonald’s Breakfast” which is the translation of “ابدأ يومك بفكرة حلوة. ابدأ يومك بفطار ماكدونالدز.” is the ad copy. The campaign aims at drawing attention to the favorite but sometimes forgotten McDonald’s Breakfast. 

The ad is appetizing and reminds us that McDonald’s Breakfast is just plain good.
