WORLD YOUTH FORUM 2022 kicks Off Its Fourth Edition on Cairo's Billboards in The Red Sea Resort City of Sharm El-Sheikh

Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Presidency of the Republic has released a new OOH advertising campaign across Cairo’s OOH scene to launch the fourth edition of the annual global event, the World Youth Forum (WYF) in the Red Sea Resort City of Sharm El-Sheikh from January 10 to 13, 2022. The World Youth Forum’s most recent OOH appearance was in 2019.   

The World Youth Forum is an interactive platform run by a group of youngsters that aims to spread prosperity, harmony, and peace to the world. The World Youth Forum gathers youth from all walks of the world to allow them to share their opinions and come up with initiatives with prominent public figures, intellectuals, and decision-makers. 

The World Youth Forum is back on its Fourth Edition after its 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic, under the motto of “Arts and culture are part of the development and a human right”.  The WYF 2022 themes are the post-COVID impacts, social security, 5G networks, digital transformation, human rights, climate change, entrepreneurship, technology, distance learning, the environment, and the future of energy, all reflected in the visuals used in the OOH campaign. It was aforementioned that prominent public figures will be participating in this anticipated event, including the actress who played Raquel Murillo on La Casa de Papel, Itziar Ituño. 

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the number of participants accepted will be lower than in past editions, and all participants must produce proof of vaccination when registering. On the other hand, the WYF has launched an interactive platform to facilitate remote participation to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
