Expo 2020 Dubai Lures the Audience With The “Have You Seen David” Campaign on UAE’s Billboards

Expo 2020 Dubai’s latest appearance on Dubai’s OOH scene intrigues the audience with their new thought-provoking campaign “Have You Seen David”. The last official campaign distributed by Expo 2020 Dubai was to promote their “Visit Expo and Win” Campaign.

David, the infamous renaissance marble sculpture carved out by Michelangelo now has a twin, showcased in Dubai’s 2020 Expo. The “Have You Seen David” campaign prompts the audience to not miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity. The recreation of such a masterpiece has been described as “The Top attraction of the Universal Expo”, therefore visiting Michelangelo’s Twin wonder is indispensable. The goal of the campaign is to remind the audience that there is still time to see David’s twin, given that it is until March 2022.

The campaign’s ad space includes a visual illustration of David’s twin statue on display at the Italy Pavilion, clarifying to the audience who “David” is for anyone who might not know. The question: Have You Seen David? is also present in the ad in large black font, in both English and Arabic, further highlighting the name of the campaign with the aim of  intriguing the audience. In addition to that “Meet him before March 2022” was placed to remind visitors of when he is to be removed. Lastly, the Official Expo 2020 Dubai Logo is present in the ad copy along with their official website and some of the main event sponsors including Mastercard, PepsiCo, Siemens and many more.

The “Have You Seen David” limited campaign was distributed on Dubai’s Billboards in the form of Hoardings and Digital Screens in the second week of December
