IKEA strikes again keeping up with their offer streak, featuring a “New Lower Prices” campaign exhibited across Dubai city. The multinational furniture company’s last appearance on the OOH scene presented on Dubai’s billboards involved their 30th birthday celebrations along with UAE’s 50th national day 50% offer. IKEA’s most recent billboards accentuated the homey and comfortable feel through the display of cozy and welcoming designs, incorporating a young girl smiling while baking and a happy family having lunch together. The ad copy transports the audience to where they could be and what they could have if they were to shop IKEA’s New Lower Prices. Another substantial element is the use of warm colors including beige and white which invite people to linger and relax as well as symbolizing clarity and calmness. In addition to the latter, IKEA’s new billboards hold the phrase “نتغير و بيتنا يتغير معنا” which translates to “Make your home a space that changes with you”, pointing out how they offer their customers complete freedom and variety to bring their visions into reality no matter how frequently they change. The last visual being IKEA’s logo accompanied by the name of the campaign and where the customers can shop their varied products, that being either in-store or online. The lower prices campaign was released in the second week of December and was heavily distributed in the form of Hoarding Billboards all over Dubai city streets.
