The fast-food giant McDonald's has drawn onlookers' attention on Dubai's roads with a blasting OOH campaign to announce that the renowned fast-food brand is taking a step toward a sustainable future, after its latest OOH campaign.
The visuals feature a lady enjoying every bite of the McDonald’s delectable french fries, spotlighting the brand's idea of recycling used cooking oil into Biodiesel, described as ”Doing good, feels good”. The visuals depict thinly sliced potatoes being deep-fried till they're crisp on all sides above a gasoline tank, referring to the conversion of used cooking oil to biodiesel.
It's worth mentioning that biodiesel derived from recycled cooking oil is a cleaner fuel than diesel across its full life cycle, emitting 75% less CO2. It is an eco-friendly fuel that aids in the reduction of global warming.
The campaign was seen in the first week of December on Hoarding, UniPole , and Lampposts in Dubai and Sharjah.
