Adidas is a brand name that’s synonymous with success, ambition, and perseverance. So, it was a natural fit for the brand to team up with amazing names such as Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi in its newest OOH campaign, which echoes the same sentiments conveyed by its previous one.
This time the two aforementioned champions are coming together in the same ad campaign, sharing their moments of triumph and happiness, proving that indeed impossible is nothing. Mo Salah is seen smiling while holding a football, while Messi is captured as he runs across a soccer field.
The visuals remain simple, with a blue solid background hosting the ad copy that states that “we see everyone getting a chance to be creative”, and “we see that every player’s goal is to get his chance”. These statements echo a very positive mentality and spread inspiring vibes.
The brand’s identity of rebellious optimism is conveyed in the placement of their logo, instead of positioning it in the clear blue space as is usual in outdoor advertising, the logo, brand name, and “Impossible is Nothing” slogan are layered over the pictures of the champions, almost indicating that these champions are a living manifestation of Adidas’ philosophy and mentality.
This inspiring new limited campaign debuted in Dubai within the third week of September, on hoardings and building wrappings.
