In our previous article covering the action taking place in the North Coast, we indicated that the real estate market has been making great use of the summer season to promote various projects that took over the OOH scene, while other industries had their noticeable presence as well. One fact persists though, the OOH landscape in Al Alamein has been extremely exciting this past summer. It’s worth noting that the North Coast landscape has witnessed campaigns evolving with new messages, or new ones bringing fresh ads into the billboards. Said campaigns include AMWAJ inviting everyone to enjoy summer, masaya presenting a boutique living community, SBAY offering luxurious seafront units, D-bay reflecting the beach vibes with a tanned model, HYDE PARK NORTH promoting Seashore with magical beach scenery, PLAYA TOWN showcasing its varied and appealing vistas, SANTORINI landing with a new message and visuals parading once again the first residential sports city in NEW ALAMEIN, THE WATER MARQ boasting about being “one in a million”, PRE DEVELOPMENTS flexing their OOH presence with their “RE” message in a new campaign, SEASHELL alluring summer-lovers into their fabulous “The G Hotel” with a huge billboard pointing towards the establishment and guiding curious travelers, Katameya Coast topping themselves with a new spectacular ad campaign that goes beyond the 7 levels, WHITE SAND promising the beach experience of old with today’s luxury, Palm Hills exhibiting pleasant images that should attract summer lovers to haciendabay, ROYA DEVELOPMENTS inviting audiences to be a part of the TELAL community, and DEVELOPER X sporting colorful ads with serene water imagery. Despite how numerous these campaigns were, they’re far from the only ones. In fact, those just cover the real estate industry’s OOH presence. A cornucopia of other industries and OOH advertisements have taken their place in the exciting road to Al Alamein (North Coast). These include the absolutely mesmerizing campaign promoting Mohamed Hamaki’s new album “YaFatenny”, as well as EBE vowing to “be with you in the Sahel”, Egypt University of Informatics encouraging students to Apple Now, Raid advertising their insecticide, Souq exhibiting their summer discount festival, and NBE promising to pamper its customers all year long with a chance to win 5000 EGP. Among the participants in the North Coast’s OOH scene was the food and beverage industry, with Sunshine displaying a flashy ad featuring some cartoon illustrations, KFC appearing on the roads with their distinguishable logo and delicious meals, and Juhayna showing up with a new campaign for a new design and a tastier flavor. The telecommunications industry also didn’t miss the chance to occupy outdoor spaces in such a hot spot, such as Etisalat which is running its campaign featuring Ahmed Amin and 3enba, and WE which is putting the spotlight on Ahmed Dash, Dina Dash, and Karim Dash. Last but not least, the Ministry of Health and Population has been spotted with three ad campaigns, the first one urging citizens to register for their family members on the website for the Covid-19 vaccine, the second being a cautionary one that provides helpful guidelines to avoid the contagious Covid-19 virus, and the third one motivating people to donate plasma, brandishing the slogan that “the cure is within you”. If the summer season of the year 2020 has been one of endurance & resilience, then the summer season of 2021 has been one of recovery, flourishment, and prosperity. The glorious boom in advertisements and outdoor campaigns has been a truly invigorating experience in resurgence and resurrection. The OOH scene in Al Alamein (North Coast) has definitely suffered last year, but it’s now back stronger than ever, with its roads decorated by the colorful ads that have undoubtedly brought back exciting sensations to accompany the road trip there! The summer season has ended, and alongside it, our two-part coverage for the action taking place in The North Coast. However, the feelings of rejuvenation and renewal linger, and if we’re left with anything, it’s that life-affirming hope for an even better season next year, and a brighter future, which is after all what summer is all about.
