Omega launches a massive OOH campaign on Dubai’s billboards revealing the Official Timekeeper, which is collaborated with the Olympic Games of 2020. The Seamaster is a celebratory timepiece produced by Omega for Tokyo’s 2020 Olympics. The campaign shows that the watch is made out of stainless steel and is attached to blue ceramic with a white enamel diving scale. The watch embodies a polished white ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves, blued indexes and hands, and the iconic Seamaster name emphasized in red. The ad copy also highlights the fact that the timepiece is “Swiss Made” and also uses the headline “Recording Olympic Dreams Since 1932” which indicates the position they have held since 1932 when an OMEGA watchmaker arrived at the Los Angeles Olympics with 30 split-second chronographs. As an added homage to the occasion it so beautifully honours, each model in the series is presented on a stainless steel bracelet and supplied within its unique Olympic Games presentation box. The campaign uses a white background in order to provide a clear glimpse of the Seamaster collection. The advert demonstrates that the Olympic Games Timekeeper has earned its legacy as one of OMEGA’s most important underwater watches, with simplicity, beauty and reliability that is still intact today. The campaign is a new one that was released during the first week of July across the city of Dubai and was distributed as a massive awareness campaign in the form of digital screens, lampposts, uni-poles as well as rooftop billboards.
