The people's favorite fast-food chain, McDonald's has launched an outdoor campaign on Egypt's billboards to introduce its new Combo #5, through a massive promotional campaign which was distributed among at least 15 different locations in the heart of Cairo.
The OOH campaign's visual shows what combo number 5 consists of which is; 1) a Big Mac double-layered beef or chicken burger, 2) a mini burger, either a Cheeseburger or a Chicken MACDO, 3) a large McDonald's signature fries, 4) a Sundae and 5) a Coke. It is a full meal for a very convenient price which is only 65EGP. If a consumer was to order the same combo without this offer, it would have been way more pricey than the deal promoted.
The visual shows that McDonald's is raising awareness for the combo #5 using their main brand colors which are yellow and red. These colors tend to excite customers and stimulate their appetites. The ad copy displays each unit of the combo with mouthwatering food photography and the price of the combo is highlighted in a big and bold red circle which is eye-grabbing. The motto for the campaign translates to "Nothing is Missing".
