Vodafone never ceases to amaze us in the holy month, wherein Vodafone used to release a new commercial that captures audiences' attention every Ramadan. This time Vodafone surprises us with the comeback of the legendary Sherihan with a nostalgic advertisement broadcast, the campaign has popped up on Cairo’s billboard with an extensive OOH advertising campaign since its last OOH campaign.
After more than 20 years, the Egyptian diva Sherihan has made a return to her audience and fans with an advertisement broadcast for Vodafone Egypt, recalling memories and nostalgic feelings from her Fawazeer Ramadan (Riddles). Since the renowned Vodafone has dedicated to empowering people, Ramadan 2021’s campaign is under the motto “Nothing Can Stop Us” which is in Arabic “قوتنا ان مفيش حاجة تقدر توقفنا”, showcasing beautiful shots from the commercial. The ad depicts the ups and downs in Sherihan’s journey; taking us through Sherihan’s dreams and the nostalgic days of her riddles including Fawazeer Ramdan of “One Thousand and One Nights”, to her car accident till the surgeries and her battles with cancer. The commercial is conveying a resilience message. In other words, no matter the struggles and challenges that you pass through, you will come back stronger than before.
