Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services Embarks its Annual Zakat Campaign “Your Zakat to Support Our Education”

Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services has embraced the concerns of people with disabilities in its mission, vision, and approach since its inception in 1979. In other words, the city was eager to educate and urge citizens to provide adequate support in all areas, as a result, the Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), Her Excellency Sheikha Jameela Bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, may Allah look after her, she invited people to support Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services’ Zakat initiative, which started on 29 March 2021, with the motto “Your Zakat to Support Our Education” in Arabic localization is “زكاتكم لتعليمنا”. This campaign aims to pay tuition fees for students who have special needs and cannot afford it. In addition, the campaign intends to provide cutting-edge technology to aid their education in line with appropriate quality standards.

Regarding the Ad copy, it is shown on the billboards that the supporters, sponsors, and partners of Zakat Campaign are Sharjah Islamic Bank, Customs and Free Zones Authority, Sharjah Ports, Dubai Islamic Bank, Sharjah Cooperative Society, Nazo Corporation, Etisalat, GPCA Group, Sharjah Broadcasting, Television Authority, Site Global Company, and Rimal International Company for Advertising. All these entities donate Zakat funds to support the city’s initiative and its services. Meanwhile, on the billboards, it writes “We receive your zakat and donations” or “نستقبل زكاتك وصداقتكم” to induce people to donate Zakat in order to support students with disabilities, highlighting the message  “To Donate call us we’ll come to you” or “للمساهمة اتصلوا نحضر اليكم”.
