The adored McDonald's has shown up on UAE's billboards with an outdoor advertising campaign, spreading the word about its new loyalty program for its lovers to enjoy more of their favorite meals, appearing on the roads after introducing it firstly with another OOH campaign in October.
Coins being equivalent to a tasty Big Mac or McDonald's lovely fries, is what the interesting and creative visual of the campaign is illustrating to the audience, simply through McDonald's Rewards program on your mobile phone. It's inviting you to "Collect points. Get Rewarded", which is "Available only on the McDonald's App". The program makes you earn points when you just scan every purchase in-store, giving you a chance to redeem your points the next time for more food and beverages from McDonald's.
The campaign has emerged in the first week of January, surfacing on a uni-pole by Arabian Outdoor in Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, another uni-pole by Site Global in Al Ittihad Street in Sharjah, a digital billboard by Hypermedia in Sheikh Zayed Road, and several lampposts across Al Taawun Street in Sharjah, Corniche Road in Buhaira, and Hessa Street, Al Khail Street, and Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
