McDonald's returns to Cairo's billboards with a reposted campaign from December, on a massive OOH media plan to make some noise for its Grand Chicken Sandwiches. It's bringing up the favorite "Grand Chicken Premiere" and "Grand Chicken Spicy" sandwiches, topping the billboards of a city where people genuinely love chicken, with an extra passion for huge portions.
After less than a month since its latest Ramadan's outdoor campaign in May, McDonald's showed up with a more spacious and less crowded visual to illustrate the pretty big couple of sandwiches. Sided by the copy "مش أى كبير يبقى جراند," which translates "Not all big is grand," speaking in a very Egyptian style and tone of voice using slang words that Egyptians use when they're giving big-ups and praising someone or something compared to others.
The OOH campaign was seen in the third week of May, appearing on billboards, uni-poles, double-decker poles, and mega-signs across multiple locations in Greater Cairo.
