Tycoons are known for having the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of heroes, believing in their duty towards their community that makes a share of their direct target audience as well. Real estate leader, tycoon and innovator SODIC has released an outdoor advertising campaign on Cairo, Egypt’s billboards to raise awareness towards the COVID-19 situation.

SODIC is no stranger to the world of CSR at all, in 2018, the billboards of Cairo have received an OOH social initiative and campaign launched by the real estate developer to raise awareness against the consequences of driving and texting in a creative, light yet strict and to the point 2D design.

This time, SODIC is asking everyone to fear for their safety during the global Coronavirus outbreak with the same 2D design style they have been using in these types of campaigns, directing messages of solidarity and awareness to use the emotional advertising appeal that will result in the audiences taking rational decisions. “If you love them, say hi from a distance”, “If you love your country, be positive”, “If you love them don’t go to the coffee shop”, “If you love them support them with us” were different ad copies wrote by the developer to start a one-to-one conversation from the brand to the people, informing them once and for all that “Our actions TOGETHER define a brighter tomorrow”.

The awareness campaign saw the light at the start of the epidemic rising during the first week and seen on uni-poles in different locations across Greater Cairo.
