With a celebrity branding marketing strategy; PepsiCo chooses to announce its brand new developed energy drink Sting by the superstar Mohamed Ramadan on a huge outdoor advertising campaign.

Known for having a name that links with power, advertisers have used Mohamed Ramadan many times as their brand ambassador to reflect strength and energy such as Etisalat’s OOH campaign for him & Van Damme, which makes him a perfect catch for an energy drink campaign. The FMGC Company is using red as their main branded color to establish a strong brand identity from the start with the brand ambassador holding the can with shots from their TV ad and the two different packagings of the product displayed, calling it “The legend’s bottle”.

Appearing during the first week of February, the massive campaign was out there using lots of OOH combinations that contain uni-poles, double-decker poles, mega-signs and billboards in many locations across Greater Cairo.
