“It all started with us getting the brief from OPPO to create a creative and effective landmark in the Egyptian OOH market” said OUTSITE OOH’s team. They began to join forces together to come up with an idea that’s different from the norm since most of the market back then was directed towards creating skymarks and other traditional OOH ideas. “The traditional ideas were okay, but we wanted to create something to be remembered for” they added. After doing their market research, the team chooses a specific bridge on Egypt’s desert road to be the first bridge on this road to be later on described as an OOH landmark. Unlike what everybody would expect, this bridge was just a footbridge for walkers to pass to the other side. The bridge has certain features that we studied before deciding to build it, one of these main features was its visibility to decide if the bridge is cross-read or not. OUTSITE OOH decided to remake the whole bridge and get it ready to be an advertising landmark. After doing all the needed changes, the bridge was transformed after developing it to be flexible so the ad itself could be changed to another one with minor editing needed.

Spiderman has landed the billboards of Cairo and the creatively designed bridge on Cairo-Alex Road for the very first time to promote OPPO F3 Black Edition and its Dual Selfie Camera parallel to the release of “Spiderman: Homecoming” movie back then.
Capture the real you with OPPO F5’s OOH campaign
With F5 in town, the international brand continues to show its untraditional advertising creation on the billboards of Egypt with an ad copy that estates “Capture the real you” to stress again and again about their superiority over the selfies with their amazing camera that upgrades with each device.
OPPO F7 captures the Egyptian National Team’s moments
Rooting for the Egyptian National football team; OPPO was positioning themselves back then as a selfie leader with its amazing camera, encouraging you to “Capture the real you”, with our football heroes standing there in pride, becoming one with the mobile device. The campaign started during the first week of May, and then extended their outdoor locations in June to include football player Neymar in their campaign later in July.
The Selfie expert and leader brings OPPO F9 to Cairo’s billboards
Around the last week of September, OPPO released OPPO F9 on Cairo’s billboards, turning to a huge media plan to spread all-over Greater Cairo. This time the attention all goes to the flash-charge technology VOOC which was reflected on the die-cuts, using new colors and an ad copy that says “5-minute charge” equals “2 hours talk”.

The OPPO F11 Pro billboards reflected it’s one of a kind camera quality that the mobile devices company is known for, with 48MP of camera glam to “Enlighten your story with new visions”, the campaign was launched during mid-September to switch their media plan later on November then expanding during the same month.
The Reno2 Series had its share with the eye-catching billboards on the roads of Greater Cairo that creates a vibe the car passenger could not miss; as the agency’s tagline “Think OUTSITE the sign”, OUTSITE OOH is thinking differently with their large OOH formats.
The OPPO creative journey has not come to an end yet with many more creations to come and various collaborations to be led by OUTSITE OOH Media to be perfectly displayed on Egypt’s billboards.
