After their last campaign on the billboards of Cairo last October, Otlob is once again releasing a promotional outdoor advertising campaign to promote their EGP39 meals, using the humor appeal to grab the viewers’ attention.
The humorous side of the TV ad is affecting the multi-channel campaign and is shown on the billboards of Cairo, Egypt. Many people are sitting with their “Beginning of the month selves” and “Last days of the month selves” with different appearances, different moods and of course different food, since all of us go big on food at the beginning of the month then do not later at the end of the month. The ad copy introduces the solution “The EGP 39 meal” where you can “Save money at the beginning of the month” in order to “Back you up at the end of it”. The bottom side has a call to action for the billboards viewers, asking them to “Download the app”.
The campaign popped up on the roads of during the first week of January, using uni-poles, double-decker poles, mega-signs and billboards in many locations across Greater Cairo.
