Built by youth, from youth and to the youth out there; World Youth Forum is sending a message of peace, prosperity, harmony, and progress to the whole world on the billboards of Cairo by releasing an outdoor advertising campaign to engage youngsters from around the globe in an enriching set-up, helping them to shape the world around us to a better place. The journey of the forum started on an OOH campaign in 2017, then expanded to the regional edition that occurred this year. The campaign is using event marketing strategy to announce the 7 main pillars of the event; African, Mediterranean, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, Arabian and Pharaonic, each one with a background that reflects its essence and nature to showcase their cultures, thoughts and hopes at World Youth Forum “Where civilizations meet” as mentioned in the ad copy. The billboards of Cairo are announcing the date and location of the event that will take place from “14-17 Dec” in “Sharm El Sheikh – Sinai”. The campaign was out there during the last week of November, using butterfly double-decker, uni-poles and billboards in different locations across Greater Cairo.
