latest outdoor campaign in July, the multinational peer-to-peer ridesharing company Uber continues to stay on the roads of Cairo with an ongoing OOH tactic; now shifting their focus with another OOH campaign on the brand’s values and services with the use of brand reinforcement marketing strategy to make their clients feel safer and secured during their trips.
Although ridesharing is not always safe due to many known reasons, Uber has taken everything into consideration to deliver a better service as well as ensure safety to users and captains. The campaign is dominating the street of Greater Cairo from the east to west; spreading with different ad copies in order to deliver a message to their clients about the security features that they recently added in the application. The visuals use the same template that we saw in their previous campaign; however, they switched from the warm orange to the blue color. As for the ad copy, it is keen to deliver 7 different messages to viewers such as, “You will find all the safety features in safety tools within the application”, “Get to know your driver in the partner driver section”, “Instant verification is an extra step to confirm the partner’s identity”, “Share your location at any time during your ride”, “Customer support, people who are ready to help you at any moment”, “Now you can call the other party through the application without showing your real number” and lastly a copy that empowers the brand’s values and was also used next to all the previous messages “Safety is a sustainable commitment”.
The campaign appeared on the billboards during the last week of August, using uni-poles, double-decker poles and mega signs in several locations across Greater Cairo
