Orange Egypt has recently launched a new outdoor campaign to encourage Egypt’s National Team in their race to FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Parallel to a humorous TV commercial – which may have apparently been banned –, the OOH ads showcase the senior actors of the TV ad over the usual branded background of the French telecom operator. The ad copy offers a promotional package of minutes and units, while the slogan pushes the team to “qualify now or you will not catch us”. The campaign started to spread at the beginning of September, and uses serials of uni-poles, double-decker poles, mega-signs, and Lightboxes in the main districts of Greater Cairo.
