World Governments Summit Shapes the Future of Governments on D/OOH
The World Government Summit returns for its 12th annual edition with a citywide D/OOH takeover. Following in the footsteps of last year’s summit and its previous campaign, the summit will play host to world leaders, international organizations, and experts to discuss the latest innovations in policies to provide solutions for humanity’s challenges. This year’s event will be centered around shaping future governments, with significant discussions being held regarding artificial intelligence, geopolitical changes, and economic sustainability.
For an event of this magnitude, the World Government Organization went for an awareness-focused approach with its D/OOH strategy. Starting off with the formats, these saw a combination of digital screens and hoarding on strategically chosen motorways, ensuring the achievement of the awareness objective. Moving on to the visuals, the campaign went for a simple announcement on the bridge billboard, announcing the date of the event as well as the event’s tagline: Shaping Future Governments. The second visual announced the presence of H.E. Barzani, the prime minister of the Kurdistan region, amplifying the magnitude of the event further.

With a record 35 heads of state, 150 governments, and 500 ministers already confirmed for the event, the summit is set to be the biggest in the event’s illustrious history, which was only aided by the strategically crafted D/OOH strategy that points to this event as a prime example of the impact of D/OOH as an awareness-generating medium.
