McDonald’s Floods Cairo Streets With a Menu-Led OOH
Across Cairo’s main roads, McDonald’s, the fast-food giant long embedded in Egypt’s everyday routines, is back on billboards with a campaign that puts its menu items front and center, marking its latest outdoor appearance since its last run on December 3.
Cairo traffic, but make it burgers, nuggets, coffee & the triple dip! This is how exactly the billboards unfold. The billboards roll out one after the other across Cairo’s main roads, almost like a menu unfolding in real time as traffic slows. It starts with McCafé, where a row of familiar hot drinks appears under the simple line “Need coffee?”, framing it as an easy, everyday choice rather than a special occasion. A few meters later, the focus shifts to the new Mushroom Big Tasty, shown up close with all its layers in clear view and introduced directly as “New Mushroom Big Tasty”, with the ordering hotline “19991” sitting quietly at the bottom. The sequence then pares things back even more with the nuggets board, led by the bold text “4 Pieces” and nothing else competing for attention, just the product placed front and center for quick reading at speed.

The run wraps with a digital execution for the Triple Dip, where warm orange tones replace the darker backgrounds and the offer is called out simply as “Triple Dip”, designed to land in a glance as cars pass or pause at a red light. Together, the boards feel deliberately paced, each one picking its moment and its message, turning the drive into a slow, visual scan of McDonald’s current menu.
