Vodafone and iPhone Turn Cairo Red with a Bold, Seamless Outdoor Launch for the iPhone 17
Cairo’s billboards have turned a striking shade of red, thanks to Vodafone’s latest collaboration with Apple for the launch of the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. The campaign, spotted across key highways and intersections, grabs attention instantly through minimalism, clarity, and powerful brand synergy.
The visual language of the campaign is simple but rather powerful, hosting Vodafone's unmistakable red is the focus, evoking instant brand identification. By way of contrast, the sleek appearance of the iPhone 17 colors pops out, showcasing the silver, purple, and green colors elegantly sitting against Vodafone's deep red. The pictures are kept spare, making it all about the product and not overburdened with information, a design detail that is an homage to Apple's timeless aesthetic.

Both billboard and screens share the same strong visual hierarchy, the 5G badge and Vodafone logo highlighting the speed and reliability of the network; the phone icon sits front and center, with the Arabic copy that translates to “Now available in installments up to 24 months," addressing consumers' intent to buy head-on.
The message is simple and in-market, “get the latest iPhone today, with payment plans made easy,” also noting that there are no down payments, fees, or interest. This explicit, in-market communication is perfect for Egypt's market, where payment plans are the primary driver of sales of expensive technology.
Situated on heavy traffic roads and business areas, the campaign achieves its maximum reach for an urban consumer base hungry for technology. Its repetition with subtle variations for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone Air instills brand recognition and reinforces the message through familiarity.
